GP and Physiotherapy Appointments

  • please complete an eConsult form using the banner on the home page selecting the "Adult health problems" or "Child health problems" option. This service is currently available between 8am and 2pm. Please do not use this form to request prescriptions, book nurse appointments or blood tests.
  • If you are unable to complete this yourself then please, phone us on 01862 892 759 and a receptionist will complete the form on your behalf

Registrars and Students

At certain times a GP Registrar (trainee medical practitioner) and/or medical students, or students with any member of the Primary Health Care Team may be working under supervision. You will be asked for your permission for a student to be involved in your care but you are not obliged to consent to this. You may also be asked to take part in the recording of video consultations for their training purposes. The practice has achieved Practice Accreditation and is an accredited training practice.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 24 or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

Home visits are offered as a courtesy to patients who are unable for reasons of frailty to come to the health centre. Unfortunately, not all services are available to be provided at home. For example, some examinations can only be adequately performed at the health centre.

Please note that lack of transport and age are not reasons in themselves to request a home visit. It takes much longer for a medical consultation to be carried out at home and the visiting GP does not have access to the full medical record, which is a moderate safety concern, so seeing the doctor at the health centre remains the best and most efficient option.

If you feel you need a home visit, please complete an eConsult form or phone and ask the receptionist to complete a form for you. Your request will be passed to a GP who will consider your request. Requests for same-day visits must be received by 11am but are not guaranteed.
